Mystic kirtan / Mantras & Prayers

Welcome to a journey into the sound and feeling of mystic mantras and prayers.

Together we will sing and dance into life the sweet joy of love in our hearts.

For this special kirtan experience we have gathered an eclectic constellation of musicians and devotional practitioners. Jessie Jack Ullevålseter on guitar, bringing inspiration from the Dances for Universal Peace movement and Nora Nidhuvana on harmonium, sharing mantras from the Bhakti tradition of India. In addition we have Øystein Evenstad with us on santoor and Karen Sollihaug on drums, bells and vocals.

Kirtan means to sing from the heart to the heart. It is a co-creation where every voice is welcome. The mantras, songs and hymns we share will be from different mystic traditions across the world.
