Kirtan / Giving thanks

Welcome to an evening of mantra song for the greatness of gratefulness. With the energy of the fall equinox, we gather with an intention to give thanks for all the gifts of Life we have received. This weekend also marks the auspicious Radhashtami, making it an especially potent time to gather in gratitude and celebration of love and life.

The kirtan will be guided by Nora & Christian, both devotional musicians and yogies. With us on percussion we have Brynjulv, who will be drumming us up on our dancing feet.

Kirtan is a co-creation where every voice is welcome. This ancient practice of bhakti yoga was developed to clear the mind, open the heart and invite into one's life a tangible and intimate connection to deeper aspects of ourselves. You are invited to sing along, or rest silently into the musical journey. In between the mantras there will be space to land in deep inner peace.

The mantras will be easy to follow, and no previous experience with this practice is required. If you have a small rattle then feel free to bring it and shake along as the energy rises :)

Doors open at 15:45 and the kirtan starts at 16:00. Please arrive some time before we start to register and settle into the space.
