Kirtan / All is Love

Welcome to an evening og mantra song, dedicated to the healing power of Love. On this first Sunday in Advent we will gather around the fireplace singing mantras from different traditions, all directed towards the truth of Love as our essence. This evening we will unify our intentions in a dedicated prayer for all our children to be protected in a loving and safe embrace.

The kirtan will be guided by a trio of devotional musicians and yogies: Giita Rani, Nora Fredheim & Christian Andvig. We are so grateful to have Giita with us this evening, who has been singing for Love her entire life, creating and sharing inspiring music for many years. Kirtan is a co-creation where every voice is welcome. The mantras will be easy to follow, and no previous experience with this practice is required. If you have a small rattle then feel free to bring it and shake along as the energy rises :)

To facilitate a smooth landing into our hearts we will be offering warm ceremonial cacao for purchase at the event.

Doors open at 17:15 and the kirtan starts at 17:30. Please arrive some time before we start to allow time to register and settle into the space.

Blending mantra song and meditation this ancient practice of bhakti yoga was developed to clear the mind, open the heart and invite into ones life a tangible and intimate connection to deeper aspects of ourselves and of the universe. Between the chants we come back to silence, and share stories explaining the meaning of the mantras.
